| 212 The Gloucester Building Hong Kong Swimming Pool Swimming Pool on the 43rd Floor Contractor: E Man Construction, Henderson Land Development Company Scope: Installation of 3 Acrylic Viewing Panels Panels: Supplied Engineered and Supplied Reynolds Polymer Technology Facts: This was probably one of our hardest but yet most exciting pool projects to date. The city of Hong Kong is wonderful with its vast skyline and the pool at "The Gloucester Building" will be something to see both day and night. The three viewing panels span nearly 84' in length, and are 10.5 inches thick. The largest of the three pieces weighted in at 21,000 pounds. When the pool is lit at night you can see the pool from across the water in Kowloon. This pool will be in our top 10 for many years to come. |
