Facts: This great new exhibit is all part of The Heart of The Zoo master plan. The penguin exhibit is just one of the new and exciting attractions to come for the completely re-designed entrance. Hammerhead International was part of a great construction team, that helped fast track this project. Visitors will get an up close view of these great african black-footed penguins underwater and on dry land through 47 expansive feet of acrylic. The panels had to be delicately installed through openings in the roof two stories above the exhibit. This exhibit at the Minnesota Zoo will surely be a hit in Summer 2011 once opened.
